A fiercely talented footballer in full flight is spellbinding. It makes you believe you can do or be so much more. And here in Northeast Ohio, we’ve been producing stars for generations: on the pitch and in the stands. Women from Northeast Ohio play top-flight ball all over the planet. Our fans pledged to fill a stadium before we even had a team. It’s high-time we had one.
We set out to be the North Star of soccer in Cleveland: not just winning titles, but being a constant, a guiding light. Giving more talented women a team to play for. Giving our fans a club to be proud of. Giving the city a reason to look up.

Where we’ll play: Cleveland Soccer Stadium
Cleveland Soccer Group is building a soccer-specific stadium downtown, where Northeast Ohio sports fans have been coming to cheer on their favorite teams for 30+ years.
Our stadium will be in South Gateway, across the street from Progressive Field and a short walk from Rocket Arena.
It will be the home of pro soccer teams Cleveland Astra and Forest City Cleveland (men’s), as well as at least 60 events each year, including local high school matches, colleges field sports and traveling pro leagues.
